Même si notre région n’a pas été trop touchée par l’épidémie de Covid, les célébrations de funérailles ont été vraiment différentes : moins de 20 personnes, parfois pas de célébration dans l’église et parfois une crémation a eu lieu dans la hâte et la peur. Chaque famille en a été éprouvée. Le service de pastorale liturgique a préparé des modèles de célébration « post-covid » disponibles sur le site du diocèse.
Des proches peuvent demander une célébration à l’église, avec ou sans eucharistie en mémoire de leur défunt (I). Une paroisse peut aussi décider d’une célébration communautaire pour tous les défunts du confinement (II). Mais nous pouvons aussi réfléchir à l’accompagnement de l’urne cinéraire. Exceptionnellement, au vu des circonstances, les paroisses peuvent accepter une célébration en présence de l’urne (III). Et en dernier lieu des familles peuvent souhaiter être accompagnées au cimetière pour déposer une urne dans une tombe ou au colombarium (IV).
Ces propositions ne sont que des indications. Elles peuvent permettre de préparer simplement des célébrations pour accompagner au mieux ceux qui ont été touchés dans leur deuil par les mesures du confinement.
